How Can fever And Vomiting Along With Loose Stools Be Treated?

Hi ...Please help me. My 11 month old baby is having little fever ,vomiting n loose motions ..... I have given her domestal 30ml syrup 1ml n given sme food after sme time but still vomiting dint stop ..... not even water or anything she is taking in ...she slept with empty stomach..... morning I will visit doctor till then what I should do..... please suggest. Can I give adol 12.5 mg suppositories.

Hi. I suggest that you take her to a hospital where she can be given ondansetron injection. I suggest that the baby requires a stool test for infection and you might need to put her on antibiotics. Note that ondansetron can be purchased and fed to the baby in the form of tablets. Use a low dose of 1 mg. Thanks. Dr. Neel Kudchadkar
